UK nationals don't require a visa, only a valid passport.

Norway has two languages, and endless regional dialects. Most speak Bokmål, though a small percentage still speak the older Nynorsk(paradoxically referred to as 'new Norwegian') English is mandatory in schools, so being understood generally isn't a problem.
